How to recognise the 2025 P790
TaylorMade's hollow-body, SpeedFoam-filled forged players-distance iron, released on a roughly two-year cycle since 2017.
- 'P·790' badge moved to the centre of the back, on a mirrored polished bar spanning the head (2021/2023 had it on the heel side)
- No prominent 'TUNGSTEN' text on the back; cleaner, P770-like badging
- Tour Satin Scratch finish with a machined texture etched beneath the P·790 logo
- Thinner topline, slightly shorter blade and less offset at address than 2023
